We care about children here at St. Mark. JAM (Jesus and Me) is our way of passing the baton of faith to the next generation. Children begin in church with their families and after the Reading of the Word, are invited to follow the teachers for learning and fun as they will explore how Jesus loves and cares for them. The curriculum is Bible-based and introduced in an age-appropriate way with interactive and hands-on activities to support the children's learning. We have two classes available dividing into a younger age class (beginning with preschool age) and an older age class (up through 6th grade).
βI donβt like vegetables.β βI donβt want to go to bed.β βMom, she is looking at me.β βDo I have to go shopping with you?β βI hate potatoes.β In our Sunday School lesson for today, the people of God were whining. They complained that they were thirsty. God heard them.Β God provided them with both the food and water they needed as they wandered in the desert.Even though He was not pleased with their attitudes or what they were saying, He gave them the water they needed. You see, God took care of them; He loved them despite their whining.
God takes care of us too!
